MIR Goal

With the support of the CTO group, from the start of your degree you will receive training in preparation for the MIR exam. From the moment you arrive there will be many other opportunities to specialise to prepare you for your chosen career path. The CTO are by far the best at preparing you for the MIR in Spain.

Our distinguished work experience program revolves around two guarantees:

  • A low student/teacher ratio (who will guide you in the hospital or the health centre) makes teaching personal and something that continues outside of the lecture theatre.
  • An active tutor evaluation plays an integral part of the learning process when on work experience.
What will you learn?

You will learn how to become involved in patient care and improve their quality of life, in collaboration with other health professionals. To do this, you will acquire new "attitudes, behaviors, commitments, concerns, ethical values, roles, knowledge, responsibilities and competences" to improve the health of patients, as established by the Wolrd Health Organization (WHO) in 1993.

Final Year Project

The TFG involves students completing their own original research projects that include and expand upon on topics studied on the course and require students to use the skills and abilities they have acquired throughout their degree. The aim of the dissertation is to teach students how to look for, structure, organise and evaluate relevant information in order to help them develop their own opinions, including how to approach topics with a social, scientific, technological or ethical nature, and how to develop their own thoughts, criticisms and logical and creative judgments.
