The purpose of the Sports Service is to bring the University’s students together through participation in sport. The main objective is therefore to facilitate and encourage student participation in sporting activities as much as possible.
To achieve this, we organize a busy programme of competitions, activities and events to promote a competitive spirit, health, education, an interest in nature and other benefits.

The CEU Cardenal Herrera University has a range of agreements in place with different organizations, enabling our students to use a variety of sporting facilities.
This initiative aims to encourage all members of the University community who already enjoy running, or who want to take it up, to use the University’s facilities and draw on the expertise of the Sports Service..
It doesn’t matter how good a runner you are. The important thing is for each member of the team to challenge themselves and reach their personal goals.
Many members of the University community run on a regular basis: students and lecturers from all degrees, administration and support staff, and alumni. Some of them are young people – and some of them are not so young people! Some members had already run several marathons and others had never run before – often because they didn’t know anyone to run with.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 1.15 – 2.30 pm.

The CEU Sports Service now runs a triathlon club, CEUTriatlón. This activity takes place at the University Sports facilities and at the Centro Deportivo de Moncada. It is supervised by Sports Service staff.
The aim is to support anyone from our university community who already participates in triathlons or who would like to try it out. The triathlon is an event which is extremely compatible with the goals the Sports Service wishes to achieve with regard to health and the full integration of everyone on campus into our university community.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced triathlon participant or if you’ve never done it before: the important thing is for each member of the team to challenge themselves and reach their personal goals. The Sports Service will also facilitate entry into the University sports facilities and the swimming pool at the Centro de Moncada for club members to train.
