Susana Sanz Caballero Professor of Public International Law
Prof Susana Sanz is the lead researcher for the Rule of Law Crisis in the European Union project, which brings together sixteen researchers from eight universities and six countries. The project examines the ongoing attacks on the fundamental values enshrined in the Treaty of the European Union, with especial attention to the situation in Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Estonia, Spain and Italy. In order to propose possible solutions and ways out of this crisis, the group led by Prof Sanz has invited seventeen international experts to come to Valencia this October for a conference entitled "Overcoming the Crisis of Democratic Values in the European Union".
