Hugo Aznar and María Pilar ParicioEthical communication on mental health
Hugo Aznar is Professor of Ethics in Communication at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University and Dr María Pilar Paricio is the Director of the Chair of Communication, Mental Health and Addictions. Together, they were the organizers of Media Ethics 2025, the 9th edition of this international conference on ethics in communication at CEU UCH. At this conference, experts from thirteen countries discussed various issues regarding communication surrounding mental health. Across more than 150 presentations, these issues included the problem of disinformation, news anxiety, the use of AI and its effect on images, AI ethics, and the self-regulation of this field.
