Over the last year, Spanish exports have shown above-average growth compared with Europe as a whole. Every exporting company, whether already international in outlook or those that have become international for the first time, will have undergone a significant cultural change to achieve internationalization.
A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since the Bologna declaration at the end of the 1990s. It was the project began to establish the European Higher Education Area – the aim being to make higher education across the continent more inclusive, accessible, attractive and competitive.
CEU has now reached a true landmark and can start turning its thoughts towards its centenary celebrations. The Centro de Estudios Universitarios – CEU – opened its doors to its first students in 1933. The institution started small and has kept on growing, expanding from its beginnings in Madrid to ten cities across Spain, going from providing university teaching only to education at every stage of life.

A stimulating challenge
University teaching
We have undertaken a 50-year journey in search of critical thinking, with humanism and faith as our companions. We have changed and adapted the way we teach, but not the essence of what we do. Knowledge is the bridge we use to close gaps between people, whether physical or virtual.
And we also put the focus on our lecturers: real teachers, real maestros of their art.

Internationalization
We had an inkling that going international would pay off: we were right. Our goal was to bring together students from over 100 different countries: we achieved it. We wanted to give wings to our students by signing almost 170 mobility agreements: we did that and more.
Now, we are revolutionizing our classrooms with simultaneous multinational education.

Employability
Study hard and you’ll pass your exams, but to build a career you need more than knowledge. We can offer over 6500 placement agreements, an exclusive Open Badge catalogue, digital training programmes, and events with industry experts: move fast, network and aim high.
If you think that we can do more to help you stand out, we’d love to hear from you.

Sustainability
We want a more just society, where nobody is left behind. Of course we do. But for us, this is not just about ideas, but about real commitment. That’s what drives to us to show real solidarity in our volunteering programmes and activities, promoting justice and supporting the oppressed and disadvantaged.
It’s a commitment that is ultimately inspired by our Christian values.
This is what we believe the world should be like
