Information

Even the longest journey must begin with the first step

Get ready for one of the most exciting journeys of your life: your time as an undergraduate. Your first day at the University will be a special one: it'll live on in your memory for many years. It's the start of something new and the first step towards a world which is yours to discover. That's why we want to give you a warm welcome to the best days of your life.

Studying online or in person?

We need you to confirm whether you will attend the Welcome Day in person or online. Please fill in this form before by Thursday, 10th September so that we can take your plans into account, enabling us to make sure all the right preparations are in place:

The Welcome Day - online or in person?

If you’re going to  study online, check out this  tab.

If you’re going to  study on campus, here’s all the information you need.

Starting off is not just about turning up

Few things are more important than finding out about the people who'll share this journey with you: who they are, where they're from and what interests you share. Maybe you'll be a bit nervous on the day - but everyone one else will be too. There's something you have in common already.

We're preparing a personalized guide for you, so you can hit the ground running and find out about about what being a student at CEU-UCH really means. We want you to see everything your new university has to offer you in terms of academic, cultural and leisure resources and activities. We also want you to get to know your new classmates while taking part in activities that will capture your imagination.

Activities to help you settle in

In order to answer any questions you may have and help you get used to your new university life, there is a whole series of online activities available to you in the week prior to the start of lectures.

Can’t wait? There are activities the previous weeks too!

It’s important to remember that:

- If you are a new student from Spain, you should come on 15th or 16th September. The University’s Services Fair will take place on this day, so you can learn all about everything we can offer you. Check out this tab.

- If you are in the second or later years of your degree, you need to come in on 15th September. You’ll receive an email with the complete programme, which will detail when and where you need to go first.

Let’s get you settled in

Whether you’re starting your studies on campus or online, we’ve prepared some online activities to help you settle into your new life – there’s a lot of information in them which we think you’ll find useful. Even if you know it all already, complete the activities anyway because there are prizes for the quickest students to finish them!

Be there no matter what: learn more about our teaching model

E-sports, Cooking, Theatre, Radio, the Stock Market, Debating or even specific topics related to your degree: there are more than 20 clubs for you to find what you like. If nothing grabs you, don't worry, you can create your own club. Starting the year by joining a club is a great way to meet people like you.
