The Technical School of Design, Architecture and Engineering has over 25 years of experience, being the first one in Spain offering the studies of Product Design in Higher Education. We have a complete offer including undergraduate, master and doctorate level. At the moment our offer in English includes the degrees of Architecture and Energy Engineering, where you could be formed in a practical and professional approach focused on acquiring complete abilities that will open to you the international market.
We are committed to the internationalization of our students. International students are integrated into the University, but also have access to exclusive services adapted to their particular needs. At the moment there are more than 10% of the ESET students coming from countries all over the world.
Currently the Technical School of Design, Architecture and Engineering has 50 Bilateral agreements with other European schools, and also several agreements with American universities from Chile, Brazil, Mexico or United States. To make this commitment to internationalization possible, there are international internship and mobility programs (international internship program anywhere in the world, Erasmus+ program, Banco Santander grants, etc.).
The ESET International Week (iWeek) is an extraordinary event that gathers professors from all over Europe to exchange knowledge, experiences, and teaching methodologies, always lectured in English.
Language learning is one of our main concerns. In addition to learn or improve your Spanish (second most spoken language in the world), you will have also access to many other language courses offered by our language service.
In addition, we add a long list of invited professionals to our solid faculty´s teaching staff. In the last years we had the presence in our classes of relevant figures as Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra, Ignacio Vicens, Mc Culough Mulvin or Joao Álvaro Rocha. All the class work is complemented with other activities as Conferences (Eduardo Souto de Moura, Cruz y Ortiz, Aires Mateus, Josep Llinás, Carme Pinós, Emilio Tuñón...), Workshops, Seminars and field trips and study travels that ease the student to open to different and valuable knowledge. Because we offer a unique approach to studies which will provide you with an integrated insight into the full range of professional activities based on Case Method. However, the technical training of the students is complemented with the personal attendance, one of the essential keys of our educative model, supported by the personalized tutoring programs. We also have many agreements under the Seneca- Sicue program that allow our students to take profit from mobility to many other Spanish universities.

For that reason our motto is More Knowledge; more knowledge means increasing your opportunities, but also helping you to learn more and acquire more abilities during your university years. For that reason we offer you a complementary formation in some specific areas as management, BIM modeling and graphic tools expertise, rehabilitation, or energy evaluation.
CEU-UCH University is associated to the Climate-KIC, an Innovation and knowledge community focused on the consecution of a low carbon society, promoted by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology). We are part of the mainboard of the Valencian Region for the Climate Change, developing pioneering activities and programs and put them into Practice.
Our University has also participated on the 2010 and 2012 editions of the Solar Decathlon Europe competition, being one of the fewest that participated in two consecutive contests. The SML House and the SML System gave us the opportunity to share with our students a real project, and a real construction based on the principles of prefabrication and the self-sustainability based on the solar technologies.
We are working closely with many companies enforcing our premises of a real life teaching, connected with enterprises and productive sectors, because we believe the formation of our students has to be useful and complete from the very beginning. In recent years, the School has been inspired by various lines of research regarding renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, which has allowed the University to collaborate with companies such as: Schneider Electric, Omron Electronics, SRB Energy, Dupont, Onyx Solar, Sunpower, Climate Well, Sugein, Saint Gobain, Holtza, Horizon Fuel Cells, Maxon Motor, Air Liquide or Endesa.
We have hydrogen energy laboratories, all the newest equipments necessary to develop any kind of models or prototypes; we have the Open Class Space where students and teachers exchange experiences outside of the regular classes, and the two prototypes of the SML house and the SML system houses located outside our school. All that made it possible to create the IDEA CEU Car, which is our multi-energy source engine car prototype that holds the Spanish record of efficiency and obtained the best results in all the editions of the Shell Eco Marathon Race
The employability of our students is one of our priorities, and therefore we organize voluntary practices both in Spain and the rest of Europe. We have signed many agreements with companies with which our students can develop practices within the framework of the Erasmus-Leonardo practice grants. We have implemented the European Exchange Practice for Architecture and Design, with which our best graduates can make an apprenticeship in some of the most prestigious firms of Europe. (Aires Mateus and Joao A. Rocha (Portugal), Müller Sigrist (Switzerland), Cruz y Ortiz (Holland), OAB Ferrater (Spain), McCullough-Mulvin (Ireland), Merom Architects (Sweden), etc. ).

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at CEU-UCH has over 18 years of experience in veterinary education and has a positive evaluation from ANECA, member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). Furthermore, according to the ranking of Veterinary Colleges published by Spanish newspaper El Mundo, it is considered to be one of the most important schools in Spain.
At present, nearly 100 international students have confidence in us and are doing one of the various forms of our Veterinary degree. Since its foundation the university is committed to remain versatile and cosmopolitan. To make this commitment to internationalisation possible, there are international work experience and mobility programmes (international internship programme anywhere in the world, Erasmus programme, Leonardo, Banco Santander, International Veterinary Student Association mobility). Among all the agreements with international schools there is an agreement between the UCH- CEU and all the French Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, as well as the "Improve International", the best postgraduate veterinary teaching institution in the United Kingdom.
The faculty´s teaching staff consists of industry specialists among which are European and American graduates. It is a particular priority for us to work closely with the students in order to guarantee a successful and complete training. In order to develop the teaching quality, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has widened their facilities by teaching and research farm and Clinical Veterinary Referral Hospital, the latter opens 24/7. In this hospital students receive a practically oriented training, actively participating in all our services with specialised professionals who themselves are teachers at the university. Both the Faculty's office and this Hospital have the System Certification Quality Management UNE EN-ISO 9001:2008.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has opted for the practical training of students so that they can gather experiences that allow them to increase their employment prospects. For this reason, CEU-UCH has more than 1,000 external specialised work placements, highlighting Bioparc and the Oceanographic of Valencia, with over 400 veterinary professionals as tutors. International internships programs are a vital part of the Faculty with more than 50 agreements signed with several veterinary professionals and institutions in different countries
The University offers a free languages service and numerous activities such as the International Student Congress, the International Veterinary week, etc. to all students. In addition the Veterinary Faculty has an International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA) that organises courses, workshops, seminars, exchanges, conferences and many other activities.
The Faculty of Health Sciences has been giving lessons to our students for more than 40 years, when CEU University began to teach Pharmacy studies. Currently the Faculty is present in our three campuses (Moncada / Alfara -Valencia, Elche- Alicante, Castellón) and offers five degrees in the area of Health Professions: Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Dentistry and Medicine. Some of these degrees in the Faculty of Health Sciences offer at least part of its academic program in English, as in the case of degrees in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing
In the Faculty of Health Sciences, University CEU Cardenal Herrera breathes and lives in a truly cosmopolitan atmosphere. Of the approximately 3,000 students in this Faculty, more than 10% are international. They come from all over the world. A large contingent of our international students come from Asia (mainly Taiwan , but also Russia , Afghanistan and Japan) and Europe (England, France and Italy mostly) and also students from Africa (Morocco), America (United States, Canada , Argentina , Ecuador and Brazil, etc.) and Oceania (New Zealand). During the academic year 2012-13, a total amount of 340 international students came from 34 different countries.
In addition to the international students, we host Exchange students that come as a part of various programs like Erasmus (Europe), Science without Borders (Brazil) or through cooperation agreements signed by the corresponding Faculty with many universities around the world. Those students join us, either for short periods or for one academic year. Obviously all of them can also participate in other exchange programs and so many travel to other countries during their degree in order to study or to do internships.
Besides the staff of each Faculty, in which many teachers offer their lessons in English, the Faculty receives each year a large number of renowned teachers who teach our students in English. Each degree organizes visits to various national industries related to their profession: primarily the pharmaceutical and food industry, but also visits to hospitals and private clinics. Our students benefit greatly from the possibility of training in the places where their teachers are health professionals. These teachers combine their profession with teaching at our University.
Our lessons not only have practices in the laboratory, but also in clinics. Our students realize this clinical practice in small groups (in most cases 1 or 2 students per clinical tutor). These practices -some of them in the 1st year- take place at the dental clinic or through training agreements with hospitals, clinics, health centers and pharmacies.
Our teaching program distinguishes itself by offering a multidisciplinary academic background characterized by vocation, scientific inquiry, rigor, interdisciplinary, patient care and comprehensive care of human beings, particularly in social issues of particular sensitivity.
The Faculty of Health Sciences has modern facilities in all its campus. Among all of them, we highlight our Dental Clinic in Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia) or Medicine facilities for Anatomy and Research (recently inaugurated in Valencia). Apart from the classics for scientific experiments in laboratory , Faculty of Health Sciences is equipped with modern teaching facilities such as the Pharmacy Practice Room, a Laboratory for Analysis of the March (LAM) with the Cinesiterapia classrooms, a Room of Advanced Simulation (for the practice of clinical interventions) , or 3 classrooms equipped with 50 Preclinical dental phantom heads.
The employability of our graduates is a priority for the Faculty of Health Sciences and therefore all of our educational programs are not only geared towards knowledge but also towards know-how.
Students of Physiotherapy realize more hours of clinical practice than any other Spanish student. Students of Dentistry and Medicine begin to interact with real patients from the third year. Students of Nursing students begin their clinical practices during the second year. Almost all students of Pharmacy realize internships at branches of Pharmacies or Pharmacy Hospitals every year
Our training goes beyond what is explained in the classroom and during periods of practical training. We aim to prepare our students for any opportunity that might encounter in the future. We organize seminars within the Vice-Rectorate of Students (CEU ACCEDE) so that our students have deep knowledge of the tools they use in their job-hunting. The purpose of CEU ACCEDE is to improve employability skills and entrepreneurship. CEU Entrepreneurship seeks to encourage and accompany the entrepreneurial spirit of our students in generating innovative ideas and offer advice on the process of creating / starting your business. The Faculty of Health Sciences also organizes the interdisciplinary meetings "Wednesdays we talk about Health". These meetings are held every Wednesday during the academic year and various professionals and recognized experts in various subjects share their experiences and knowledge with students who want to escape from the formalities of the classroom.
